Badlands was fantastic! We loved it here!! Pictures definitely do not do it justice!

We stopped in the town of Interior for lunch. ( I think its the only town in the Badlands!) We met about 25 bikers in this little tavern and found out that 3 of them came from the same little town of Star Junction/Perryopolis PA where my mother-in-law was from. What a small world!!

To make the day longer, we went to the State Farm and Rodeo in Rapid City that night. We drove hone 45 minutes in the pitch black. Ain't doing that again!! It was a 12 hour day.

ReplyDeleteIs that really you, Dori on the top of that mountain? I think I am moving to Interior SD. That's my kind of town with population of 94!! I loved the rodeo pictures! They brought back memories when we went back in the late 70's . Has Joe found Bigfoot yet? Lol. Enjoy!
